Johnson’s Veterinary Products is honoured to once again be supporting the Rotary Club of Sutton Coldfield Vesey’s annual charity dog walk in Sutton Park this Boxing Day, as the event marks its 34th year raising money for local worthy causes.
Regardless of whether you own a pet or not, all dog lovers are being welcomed (and strongly encouraged!) to come along, join the fun and enjoy the company of the local community’s furry friends from 10:30am on Tuesday 26th December 2023.
The event presents a great opportunity for likeminded individuals to come together for a brisk stroll around the picturesque Sutton Park, to take in the sights of royal acres, let the festive chaos slip away, and meet new friends (both two and four legged).
Most importantly, the moneys raised through the sponsorship or donations of those participating will benefit the hard work undertaken by Birmingham Dogs’ Home, the charity that has been caring for stray, abandoned and relinquished dogs from across the West Midlands and South Staffordshire for over 130 years, as well as a number of other Rotary charities.
All those attending should meet at the Visitors’ Centre of Sutton Park, which can be accessed through Town Gate, Park Road, Sutton Coldfield.
Johnson’s is proud to have been part of the Sutton Coldfield community for over 60 years, and it has been a privilege to support the Rotary with its annual Boxing Day Dog Walk for the last 20 years.
Supporting pet owners and the wellbeing of their animals is at the heart of everything we do, and as walking has a number of well-known positive effects on the physical and mental wellbeing of both owners and pets alike, we can’t think of a better way to blow off the Christmas excess!
The event is open to all ages and breeds, so you’re guaranteed to encounter lots of interesting people and pups. The first 36 entrants will receive a goody bag containing a range of our bestselling pet care products, a mug and some leaflets. Limited edition charity dog tags and Johnson’s pet towels will also be available for the first 100 entrants.
