Johnson’s Veterinary Products are proud to sponsor the Rotary Club of Sutton Coldfield Vesey’s Boxing Day charity dog walk at Sutton Park, now in its 36th year supporting vital local causes through festive fundraising.
Starting at 10:30am on Thursday 26th December 2025, local residents, their families and pups are warmly welcomed to join this post-Christmas walk through the park, a wonderful chance to connect with fellow dog lovers and their companions.
This annual charity walk has become a tradition for many, and has steadily built a loyal following over the years. Participants can enjoy the roughly 2.5-mile marked route at their own pace, stopping to chat with other walkers and soaking up the joyful atmosphere.
The starting point is opposite the Visitors’ Centre at Sutton Park, accessible via Town Gate, Park Road, Sutton Coldfield, with plenty of parking available on site.
All proceeds from sponsorships and donations are in aid of Birmingham Dogs Home, which has provided essential care for stray, abandoned and surrendered dogs across the West Midlands and South Staffordshire for more than 130 years.
As sponsors for over two decades, Johnson’s are delighted to continue our partnership with the Rotary and the charities they champion. Being part of this community tradition for many years is something we’re proud of, particularly with Sutton Coldfield being our home.
Since our founding in 1921, we’ve been dedicated to supporting pet health and happiness across the UK with our effective and affordable range of pet care products. The Boxing Day walk is something that benefits the mental and physical health of dogs and their owners, especially after the indulgence of the festive season.
Dogs of all ages and breeds are invited to join the fun on Boxing Day morning. There will be goody bags filled with our popular pet care products and helpful information up for grabs, plus a special edition charity dog tag – so make sure you arrive early!
Why not extend the holiday celebrations just a little bit longer? You’ll find plenty of happy pups and volunteers waiting to greet you.
